Anyone ever have to raise or lower the action with a Beard set up? I play slide as well as finger style traditional. A Leo Kottke fan!
I'm so close to ordering this guitar from Beard and was wondering if I should even bother to call and request something maybe lower than his stock set up or is it just fine for both with there set up as is? I can always make it higher with some relief but does it show up pretty flat already? I'm not opposed to a little sanding of the saddle bone bottom but???? Don't want to throw his famous set up off.
