... michaelmx got his first guitar when he was a high school student in western Pennsylvania, back when we were still using the steam powered computers, and a life-long love affair with the instrument followed. He has lived on Planet Earth most of his adult life. Since retiring from teaching at the Local Community College for many years, he has been able to divide his time between his guitar studies, reading Science Fiction and researching practical time-travel machines. You can check back last year to see if the Time Travel is working. ... He says: "It is not enough to create art. One must be art. I'm not quite sure what that means, but that's what I thought when I was about twenty years old. What I have noticed over the years is that if we don't take the time and spend the energy to inform and shape our work and our every day activities with art, it all can become pretty meaningless pretty fast."
