Bashful Brother Oswald`s style is what got me interested in Dobro. My dad had a bunch of Dobro records when I was a kid, artists like Auldrige, Douglas and others in that style, but I never did care a bit about that style, nor bluegrass styles in general. It`s the Hawaiian influenced country style (I call it 1st generation country style dobro) that I like. Also love Hawaiian music. I love the 2 finger roll most people call the "trill". Also like chimes & false chimes that are slid. Of course, these are all "tricks" Oswald relied on.
