I have a Johnson reso guitar that I put a Beard Legend come in and also a number 14 spider. It also has Beard inserts and a Beard nut in it. It has a sound chamber that has been opened up at the front. It has a Fishman PRO RES 001 pickup in it. It has a piece of tape on the cover plate because I am a sloppy player and my fingers land on the cover plate sometimes. It does not come with a case. It has a few finish flaws but nothing that effects the playability of the instrument. This model is an R body. A nice looking and sounding guitar. Will ship to the lower 48 states. Thanks

This is my seventh resonator guitar and sixth squareneck. This one is made from black walnut with curly maple binding and a cherry soundwell. The finish is Tru Oil. The Legend cone and #14 spider were both made by Paul Beard, the tuners are Gotoh and the rest of the hardware is generic. The nut is Corian and the bridge inserts are maple. I have a new Adams Resonator guitar up for sale. It is new and has only been played for less than 1 hour. It has a sunburst finish on it. It has the Beard Legend cone. Beard number 14 spider. It also has the removable palm rest cover plate. It is a beautiful guitar but it does have some finish flaws. You have to look close to see them. It also has a new case that goes with it. It has the L body and really sounds good. It doesn't have any cracks or flaws that will effect the playing or durability of this instrument. This reso has the open chamber. I have a Gold Tone PBS-M resonator guitar with Jerry Douglas Aura pedal with very little usage. The guitar is in good shape with maybe some very small scratches and dings but you'd have to look pretty hard to find them. Has the Beard Legend cone and the Beard number 14 spider. Also has a Beard nut and Beard inserts. There is a place on the cover plate where my sloppy playing has rubbed a little chrome off. It has the Nashville pickup system in it also. The Aura pedal has not been used very much. It has a sound chamber but has been opened up at the front. It has lots of volume and sounds really nice with the solid mahogany body. Comes with a TKL case that has seen some use. Don't know the year but like I said, it has a sound chamber in it. I will ship to the lower 48 states. Thanks

Fairchild Dobros & Custom-Built Guitars, Dreadnaught and Mandolins, were being produced for over 40 years. Note these photos show Brazilian Rosewood that was purchased from Martin Guitar Company, in Nazareth Pennsylvania over years ago. The Rosewood was estimated at being at least 25 years old at that time. Martin never made a lap style Dobro. Luthier, Raymond Fairchild incorporates innovative ideas in all of his instruments, and each instrument is in some way unique or one of a kind. This Dobro is a large body, depth, measuring 3-3/4 inches at the neck and 4-3/4 inches, at the tail piece. Loud voice with a strong sustain, baffled open body, no sound ring or posts. The front, and sides are solid Martin Brazilian Rosewood. The back is a thinner, Martin Brazilian Rosewood laminated onto a solid hard maple full back. Fret markers are unique abalone and resemble the Martin D28 pattern and has 22 frets. Natural lacquer finish...9 coats hand rubbed, Brazilian Rosewood fret board. Head plate is also Brazilian Rosewood. Saddle inserts are ebony capped maple. Tuners are Schaller. Strings are Beard. Has a Beard cone. Spider is Beard #14. All other metal hardware is from Stew-Mac. This Dobro comes with a hard-shell case, ships inside a cardboard box designed for shipping guitars. This Dobro ships free to the buyer....continental USA. I purchased this Beard Roadaphonic new at The Guitar Sanctuary in McKinney,TX in 4-22. It is the latest version of the Roadie with the three pickup system (P90 in the front, Lollar Gold Foil in the middle, Fishman Nashville in the bridge). It is wired in stereo with the front pickups split from the bridge using a stereo cord or can be run mono using the toggle switch to mix them separately or together. It has the Hipshot Double Shot bridge and roller nut assemblies with locking Hipshot tuners. It will come with a nice Cardoba gig bag. I added friction fiber material to the upper bout to help stabilize it while standing up playing. The paint is partially worn off the Gold Foil pickup from pick wear and it has a few dings which can be seen in the pics. I love this guitar but traded for a second Roadie a few months back and have decided to part with this one as I don’t need two. Actual shipping cost plus insurance if wanted to the lower 48 only. Cashiers check or money order accepted but must clear my bank before shipping. PayPal is fine if buyer adds the 3% commission. No trades please. Up for your consideration is a very beautiful (real!!) quartersawn Brazilian Rosewood (back and sides), Red Cedar (top) and walnut neck, large body resonator guitar #96B, built by JD Myers of Ohio under the Fishook name. This is a very high-end guitar that was custom built for me in 2013. JD has not built any guitars in years, as far as I know, and I don’t know whether he intends to start production again. His Facebook page (Fishook Resonator Guitars) is still active so, if you are not familiar with the quality of his work, I would suggest that you check it out. There are other players on the website here who own Fishook guitars and can attest to the standard they achieve. These come up for sale very infrequently and was priced new at $5600.00 at the time and who knows what it would cost now with the increasing price of Brazilian! I am asking $4900.00 plus $100.00 shipping. Message me for additional information and details including a 3-day inspection and approval arrangement, considering the expense and level of this instrument. However, actual shipping charges will not be refunded. An audio clip link is posted below, however, playing the instrument in person is the very best way to evaluate it, to that end, I will not try to describe the sound except to admit that it is large. This is an open sound well, with post design. It has a #14 spider, ebonex-capped bridge inserts, Scheerhorn cone, Gotoh 510 tuners, lyre cover plate, open screen holes, ebony fretboard with metal frets, custom bloodwood binding, snowflake fretboard inlays and no pickup. If you are viewing this listing then you probably know about bobby wolfe resos!! bobby has built some of the very best resophonic guitars you can buy....and this is no exception!! it has a quarterman cone with a #14 omi spider bridge...it has the vintage reissue grover tuners and ebony fingerboard with flush frets.....this guitar is in as mint condition as you could ask for to be 16 years old.. this reso sounds absolutely amazing why part with it? well i primarily play banjo/guitar/mandolin over resophonic guitar and actually have another reso to learn on so i figure i would part with this one (i will probably regret it!!) ,i honestly don't think you will find a finer built and better sounding reso than this without paying upwards of $7000 ..would consider a nice banjo for trade...thanks
