Hello everybody. another newbie here.I've been learking in the shadows for about 6or 8 months now and finally decided to join the bandwagon.seem's to be some very nice and friendly members here, and I have learned alot from reading all the different threads. I started on dobro about a year ago. I've been taking lessons on line from Troy Brenningmeyer, who by the way, I think is one heck of a great teacher as well as a great person. I started on a Fender fr-50 for a month, then upgraded to a pbsm, and then updraded to a Redline Rambler Deluxe. ( the green machine). I just sold the pbsm, reluctantly I might add, as Steve Smith is building me a large body guitar.Steve is another really great and helpfull guy and I think builds awsome guitars. Love the green machine.I'm posting an mp3 of the old song Wafaring Stranger that I just recorded a couple of days ago. Just on guitar, the green machine and me. oh, I forgot, a clave also. (not sure if I spelled that right). It's not any competition for Freddy Holmes, who I noticed put up a video on reso nation, but I was pleased with it so I thought I would like to see what everyone else thinks. Please feel free to leave any comments,(good or bad), and any suggestions for improvement are welcome, as I know I've got alot to learn.

Very nice arrangement...your vocals are very pleasant to listen to and suites your musical style nicely. Sounded like I heard some vocal harmonies...were you dubbing over yourself? Enjoyed it...the Rambler sounded sweet...

Only one year when you recorded this? That gives me hope cause I'm too old to take 10 yrs to learn this thing. Best rendition of this song that I've heard. I can tell you have music growing in your bones, Kim. And you have a fine voice as well. Thanks.
