Looks like a a big ol' tubby thing sort of in the realm of the Sho-Bro.
i have never seen one like it before. There are "shade tree mechanics," this might be the work of a "shade tree luthier."
Since it has what appears to be a truss rod cover, I'm guessing it's a roundneck converted for lap style playing.

I'm with Mark, looks like a well done homebrew round neck conversion, how well done would depend on the interior cone support and bracing.
