I got my first reso about a month ago, and the progress so far is slow. I started with " The Complete beginers set from Troy" which seems to be a great starting point. I sat down for an hour lesson with David Ellis yesterday. He gave me one of his "Dobro Primer books along with some useful tips on getting started. Now its up to me to put in the time to learn the different techniques I'll need to become competent on this great instrument. My game plan is to work to become comfortable with the material in Troy and Davids lessons and at some point go back for some follow up lessons. I have decided the best way to learn is one technique and one measure at a time. I'm sure I will be asking alot of questions of you guys along the way and any help is appreciated.
