I"ve been playing since age 12, starting on piano, guitar, then bass - worked as a jazz bassist for 40 years, now I split my gigs with jazz/swing/gypsy/choro mandolin. Always loved the sound of Dobro, tho I'm not necessarily a Bluegrass musican, and bought one a few years ago, I'm completely obsessed.
