Well, I'm starting the journey to learn the Reso-Guitar. I have been playing the guitar for 55 years and the 5-sring banjo for 42 years. Figured it was time to start learning something new. I purhased a Recording King square neck last week, and have been practicing every day. I made some tracks wth Band In A Box to play along with. The right hand seems to be less problem that the left hand and steel. It is gettilng a ittle better, but still lots of sour notes. But I've been at it long enought to know the drill, practice, practice, practice, and then practice some more.
I'm not brave enough to record anything on the Reso yet, but I have some banjo recordings on the Banjo Hangout.

Started playing guitar in 1954, and picked up other instruments on the way. I have been playing in bluegrass bands since 1973. Decided to leard the reso guitar for a while.
