My Instruments:
I play Guitar confidently.
A little less confident on Dobro, Mandolin, Fiddle, Banjo, Dulcimer, and a bunch of Hand Percussion instruments.
My confidence is so low on the fiddle, I sometimes call it a "violin" so I won't be asked to bring it along.
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
It's music. They're all a favorite at some point.

I've been into music as long as I can remember. I was raised to play piano and organ, so my 12th birthday request was naturally a guitar. I got it, and life has never been the same since. Played in bands and as a self-accompanied soloist from one coast to the other, and even did a little European tour courtesy of the US Army. Heck - they even arranged for one of my bands to play a few desert jams way up north in Saudi Arabia. Fortunate to have a job in radio since 1999, where music and musical artists are the order of the day - every day. Other than music and work, I spend time in the shop my wife let me build, where we crank out cigar box guitars and ukuleles, gourd instruments of many kinds, and a few crafty looking tin resonators. Oh...and coffee. We roast our own. Gives us a keen edge for our jaunts on the motorcycle.
